I was born into a Christian family. My parents came to Quebec in 1949 as missionaries. They were trained at Béthel Bible Institute. As a family we had been very involved in all that went on at Béthel. At the age of seven I accepted the Lord as my personal Savior in a summer camp at Béthel Bible camp. We traveled around the province of Quebec and were involved in church planting until in 1977 we moved onto the property at Béthel where my father took over the maintenance. I have had the privilege of being involved with many different aspects of the Béthel ministry before Word of Life came into the picture. I married Sylvie Godin. My best friend became my wife and we have 11 children: 6 biological, 5 adopted from Vietnam with special needs. I did three years at Prairie Bible Institute and four years at the French seminary, SEMBEQ, in Montréal. I earned my Bachelor of Theology. I pastored in a church in Montréal for 12 years, was ACE church school director for one year and worked in construction for three years. When Word of life was invited to come to Béthel, we were very interested in what was transpiring. We had the privilege of meeting Jack Wyrtzen and Harry Bollback and they asked me to direct the camp ministry. We have been involved now for over 20 years.
Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
