Missionaries to Mexico

Ministry Description

As the Director of Word of Life Mexico, our goal is not only to reach out the teenagers with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, also we want to develop a deep and practical relationship with the local church.

One of the priorities in my role is to develop, train and equip the next generation of leadership for this ministry and country.

About Roy

I was born in a non-Christian home. My life as a child and teenager was never close to God. In my teens, like any young man I went through many struggles and I always tried to fill the emptiness in my heart with things that were not the most appropriate.

In 1993, I was invited to a camp of Word of Life Costa Rica, where I realized that I was a sinner and that my sin separated me from God. I surrendered my life to Christ and accept Him as my Savior. Since that time, my life changed.

I began to grow spiritually, to get involved in the church and serve there, reaching the conviction that I should serve the Lord full time. In 1999, I got married and together with my wife we went to the Word of Life Bible Institute in Argentina where we studied for 3 years.

After that God send us to El Salvador, where we were serving the Lord for 10 years. Was a wonderful time for us, learning and knowing our Savior more closely. But After those 10 years, God moved us to a different country.

Since August 2016, we are serving at the forefront of the ministry, in Word of Life Mexico, and our goal is to reach the Country with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

About Glenda

I was born in Costa Rica in a Christian home, but it was not until the age of 12, at a meeting of ICTUS that they preached the Gospel and I made a decision for Christ. I lived my adolescence as any normal young woman with many struggles.

At the age of 17, in the year 1993, I was invited to a camp of Word of Life Costa Rica, where a person approached me and gave me security of salvation. After that I began to serve the Lord in the local church and a year later I dedicated my life to the Lord to serve full time.

In the year 1999 I got married and 3 months later with my husband left for the Word of Life Bible Institute in Argentina, where we studied for 3 years.

Currently, by the grace of God along with my husband and my children, Aaron, Samuel and Santiago, we serve the Lord full-time in Mexico and we give thanks to our God for giving us this privilege.

Life Verse

1 Peter 2:15-16 For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men: As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.
