I was born and raised in a home where God was often talked about but there was a huge lack of good theology and good example. Because of that, even though I knew about God and believed in His existence, I really had a hard time in my teenage years. My lack of guidance and wisdom put me into hard situations many times but God was very gracious and patient with me throughout the time of my strongest rebellion.
When I was 15 I got to a Christian camp where I heard the full Gospel for the first time: Jesus Christ the Son of God became a man, lived on the face of the Earth and died for our sins. On the third day He rose proving that He is stronger than death, giving us a way to gain forgiveness before God by grace through faith. And with His Resurrection He gave us hope that we will share the same fate after our deaths if we believe in Him and we accept He's forgiveness. I understood this and accepted Jesus as my personal Savior but I still struggled with lack of discipleship. Many times I had good intentions but I did the wrong things thinking I knew what I was doing.
I thank the Lord that this all changed when I was 20 and I met a Pastor who agreed to meet regularly with me and disciple me in God’s Word. Shortly after this time I went to Word of Life Hungary and became a Bible School student. I was blessed by wonderful Bible teachers in addition to the opportunities WOL provided for me to grow spiritually. That discipline along with loving accountability help to change my life completely. I graduated from the Bible Institute in 2017 and recently finished a 6-month internship in a church ministering to youth and also adults. My heart's desire and hope now is to reach Hungarian youth through the gospel and to provide ministry opportunities to help them learn how live obediently and abundantly in Christ.
