About Daniel

My name is Daniel Peralta, I was born in Cochabamba – Bolivia, my parents were not Christians, when I was very young they divorced and I was left in the care of my grandparents. From a very young age they took me to church, so at the age of 11 in a special Bible Club night I was able to recognize my condition as a sinner and I put my faith in Christ to be saved. When I was 13 years old I got to know the ministry of Palabra de Vida Bolivia, since that age I attended the camps to be able to help, I even participated in many evangelistic trips with this ministry. The trip that marked my life was a trip through the jungle to a city in the north of Bolivia called Cobija, without a doubt it was on that trip that God called me to missionary work, I was 17 years old at the time. However, because of bad decisions I was making I moved away from the things of God, I decided to give place to soccer more than to Him, I replaced Him and lived a life with bad habits and bad friendships, God used a very difficult situation in my life to bring me to Him and used the ministry of Word of Life to take me to a jungle where God reminded me of the call He had made to my life some years ago. years before. It was then that I let go of all those things that tied me to the things the world offers and decided to follow Christ. For a few months I was living in the new property that Palabra de Vida had bought (I needed to get away from the whole environment in which I lived) and I prayed to be able to study at the Instituto de Palabra de Vida in Argentina, although I did not have any support from my parents, God put a person who prayed for me and shared my desire to study, He offered me all my travel paperwork (passport and other documents) and it was through him that an American Missionary decided to offer me my studies. My grandparents, with the little they had, supported me with my passages and that's how God took me to the Bible Institute of Word of Life in Argentina. Although it was difficult to let my grandparents (they were 94 years old when I went to school and I loved them more than my parents), obeying God's call was stronger.

In the high school, God worked in the first year "Renewing My Heart" from all the wickedness that I allowed to enter because of living away from God. In the second year God was "Giving Up His Purpose in My Life" He put in me the need to serve Him all my life leaving aside my plans or dreams. Through the third year came the time to "Respond to God's Call" despite not having extraordinary qualities or abilities, without having sustenance only the disposition of the heart to follow his plan I decided to go out to missionary work and since then I serve him, It was in my third year that God brought into my life the one who is now my wife (Cynthia) he did it at a time that I did not expect and in a way that I did not expect. In a way that I did not imagine, I thank God for her, she is my perfect complement, she encouraged me, she drives me and despite the difficult moments we had to face she is a person who sustains me in my life.

We have been serving in Bolivia for 17 years and we continue to dream of what God wants to do in us and through us. We decided to follow Christ until the last moment of our lives and it would be a privilege for them to pray for us. Thank you for reading this little summary of what it was like for God to work in my life.

About Cintia

I was not born in a Christian home. However, my father came to know Christ and then he began taking me and my siblings to church. When I was 13 years old I received Christ as my savior. During my teenage years, I strayed from God’s path but God used the death of my grandfather to get my attention. After 3 months of fighting with the Lord I asked for forgiveness and returned to following Him.

In 2003, at a Word of Life camp, I decided for the first time to give my entire life to the Lord. At this time, God put it in my heart the desire to prepare myself at the Word of Life Bible Institute in Argentina. God allowed me to study for 3 years and and that is also where I met my husband. We have the privilege of serving together in Bolivia with our son.
