About Lesli

I was saved at the age of seven in Panama at an evangelistic campaign. At the age of 12, I confirmed my decision at the Word of Life Ranch where I learned that the Gospel was about having a personal relationship with Christ not just the assurance of getting to Heaven.

Years later, God brought me back to Word of Life New York to join their staff for seven years. My sister Traci and her husband Mirko began the ministry of Word of Life in Panama in 1994 and I had been volunteering with them over the years. While living in Atlanta in 2009, I felt God directing me to be a part of the work in Panama. Since I had grown up in Panama, I considered it my "home", so I was very excited to return to serve the Lord with the goal of reaching the youth for Christ.

In August of 2017 I took in four Panamañian boys whom I had cared for in 2013 for nine months with the Ana Panama transition home ministry we partnered with. We live in the town of Chame about 10 minutes from the Word of Life camp property. I am grateful for the opportunity God has given me to serve in Panama with Word of Life and am blessed to see how He is working in the country of Panama.

Life Verse
