Our missionaries are normal people from all walks of life who have dedicated their lives to serving and following Jesus wherever He calls them. Want to meet them? Check out our Missionary Directory.
I work as the registrar of the Word of Life Africa Bible Institue
The decision I made to follow Christ years ago was not one I took lightly. No body mentioned living eternity now and if they did I would probably have looked at them and asked who they were fooling. But when I did give my life to Christ and began to grow in Him, I realized it was a whole new exciting experience. And with the reality of eternal life, I cannot imagine not living for Him regardless of life’s challenges. I found His Word to have all the answers to the questions I have always asked myself. Choosing to follow Him didn’t choke my talents and abilities but it gave direction to what I wanted to do. Since then, I have learnt day by day to rely on Him for everything no matter how small or big.
I’m a fun person with a passion for art, sports, youths, and little children who, despite their tough situations still manage to put smiles on our faces. Just being able to show them someone else cares and wants to see them smile makes hanging out with them both a learning and teaching experience. On a free day, you’ll find me engrossed in a Francine Rivers book, tinkering with wire to create a piece of jewelry or decorating a fabric; so don’t be fooled by the serious face behind a pair of glasses.
Currently I work with the Word of Life Africa Bible Institute. It is an exciting process working through all the things that need to be done before the Bible Institute starts and I have to say I have enjoyed every part of it. I can’t wait for the students to start and hopefully enjoy what is in store for them, then learn from the whole experience. So I am eagerly waiting to see what God is going to do. Oh, I am one of the pioneers of the first Bible institute in Uganda (Africa).
