Serge and Michele Lemee
I am serving, since 2010, with Word of Life international as Francophone ministry coordinator. My parents are from France but I was born in Québec and always lived in Québec (except for one year studying in Idaho). In 2010 it was difficult to change the passion of my heart from Québec to the Francophone world, but God really did it.
I now have an overflowing passion for the Francophone world and I will put all the energy that God gives me for the advancement of the ministry among young people in the Francophone world.
When you see at the end of this paragraph "learn more about the ministry in France", it really means about the whole Francophone world that represent about 320 millions people in 56 countries. Do not hesitate to ask question about Francophone ministry.
Serge and Michèle were born and raised in the Montreal area in the province of Quebec and in 1982 they moved to Laval where they became very active in their local church. After being involved with Word of Life and the enthusiasm and dynamic spirit of this ministry, they decided to pray and work towards the establishing of Word of Life Clubs, Bible Camps and a Bible Institute in Quebec. They also worked on the translation of Local Church Ministries' material and started the first French Club in Quebec (Olympians and teens) at their church in 1992.
They felt that the Lord was leading them to work as missionaries in their province, which they consider a forgotten mission field in North America (0.4% evangelical Christian), and became full time missionaries with Word of Life. Serge and Michèle have been involved in youth ministry, in Québec, from 1986 to 2010.
2 Corinthians 8.13-15 - For I mean not that other men be eased, and ye burdened: But by an equality, that now at this time your abundance also may be a supply for your want; that there may be equality. As it is written, He that had gathered much had nothing over; and he that had gathered little had not lack.
