God has blessed this trip as it went in 2023 and 2024, so we are excited for how he will use it again in 2025!

Healthcare Ministry:
• We will treat our patients as thoroughly as possible given the ability of our team.
• This team of volunteer healthcare professionals will use their skills and abilities to help those who have little-to-no access to medical care.
Strategy
Evangelistic Ministry:
• Our team will share the Gospel with every person we treat.
• In 2023, we treated 805 people and 159 of them trusted Christ!
• In 2024, we treated 697 patients and God brought 83 of them to Himself!
• Word of Life Uganda is passionate to train up youth to reach their generation with the Good News of the Gospel! They have a Bible Institute to equip young adults to share Jesus with the people of Africa!
Travel
• The group will be flying in/out of Entebbe International Airport (EBB).
• Accepted team members will be provided with arrival and departure windows and options for travel agents. This makes booking flights as easy as copying the arrival and departure window paragraphs and sending them to the travel agent!
Housing
• The group will be staying at the Word of Life Bible Institute when in Kampala, and a hotel for the remote clinic.
Transportation
• The Ugandan missionaries will handle our transportation in Uganda, where they drive on the left-hand side of the road!
Food
• The group will be eating meals at the Bible Institute or at the hotels we stay at. They tend to eat a later lunch in Uganda, around 13:00. I can promise you will be fed 3 meals each day, and can guarantee the late arrival of lunch some days. I will provide accepted team members with snack-packing advice in order to cope with this.
• We are able to provide alternate meal options for those with allergies.
• Eating out on days off/tourism days is not included in the trip cost.
Visa
• Uganda utilizes a digital Visa which costs $50. Details on applying for the visa will be provided to accepted team members. It is fairly easy process.

• A packing list will be provided to accepted team members.
Dress Code
• Scrubs with close-toed shoes for work.
• Modest casual clothing for free time and day off. Mid-thigh to knee-length shorts are acceptable.
• Bathing suits: "1-piece" with shorts for women (please no midriff), hand-length shorts for men.
• As we represent the reputations of the Word of Life's missionaries, we will adhere to the same Word of Life standard of conduct as the missionaries for the duration of the missions trip, as well as travel to and from the field.
Qualifications
Financial Information
• $950 trip cost includes travel insurance, and in-country expenses (food, housing, and local transportation), a contribution towards medications/supplies.
• Trip cost does not include international airfare, visa, and background check.
• Payment is due before June 27th, 2025 (8 weeks prior to the trip).

Other Information
• Like all of our trips, Word of Life requires each team member to have a background check within 12 months of the trip. This is part of the application process and costs $16 (not included in trip costs).
