I am currently the Academic Dean of the Language School at Word of Life Béthel. I help make the program efficient, help find professors and am assisting in the accreditation process. I also teach at each of the levels, two each semester.
I accepted Christ in 1985 at a bar at the University of Sherbrooke. I had started attending Navigators' meetings in January of that year, but it was late evening, February 14th, that God drew me to Himself in one of my meetings with the leader of that ministry.
At the end of my French studies I asked the Lord how I could use what I had learned for Him. In August of 1989, He led me to Béthel Bible Institute to work in text editing. As early as September of that year, I was starting to teach French immersion classes in the French language school. During that same year, I was named Director of the Language School program. I was part of the team that transitioned from Béthel Bible Institute to Word of Life Béthel.
Romans 8:1-2 "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death." These verses encourage me to share the Gospel in my "Jerusalem" and to keep the goal in view of helping missionaries serve the Lord in the French-speaking world.
