I received the Lord as my personal Savior when I was ten years old during Sunday School Class. When I was a teenager I was divided between playing professional soccer and preparing myself to serve the Lord full time. I received the invitation to play soccer in Holland, and I asked the Lord for guidance. He showed me that He wanted me to serve Him full-time as a missionary, based on Proverbs 14:12. It was a hard decision but I said "Yes, I will serve you Lord!"
To prepare myself I went to the Word of Life Bible Institute in Recife, Brazil in 1999 and I finished my Pastoral Studies in 2002. It was a wonderful time studying God's Word and learning how to share the Gospel with others.
After my graduation I became the Pastor of my home church, and in 2005 I went to be a Word of Life missionary in Recife, Brazil.
In 2006 I married my beautiful wife, Rebeca, and we went to serve the Lord together in Recife.
I received the Lord as my personal savior when I was six years old. I was led to Christ by my mother who taught me the Bible daily.
When I was twelve I felt that the Lord was calling me to serve Him. I told Him, "Yes, I will serve you and go wherever you want me to go!" I went to Bible Seminary at the age of seventeen; it was a wonderful time to study God's Word and learn how to share the Gospel with others.
