Ministry Description
I serve as the director of campus ministry. Our team is committed to reach and disciple college students. Currently, we are reaching the students of University of the Philippines Los Banios but we are praying to expand our impact and reach other schools. I am also teaching Open-Air Evangelism at Word of Life Bible Institute Philippines. My passion is to share the gospel and train other Christians to reach other people.
About Michael
I was only two months old when my parents left me to my grandmother. I was 18 when I came to know the Lord at Word of Life Camp. I attended a summer camp and there I heard the gospel and believed that Jesus Christ died for my sin and rose from the dead. I became a student of Word of Life Bible Institute and as a student I began to grow in my faith and spiritual life. I was exposed to evangelism ministries and other local church ministries and through those ministries God began to open my heart to see the need of the people-the Lord Jesus Christ. God gave me a burden to share Christ to the lost and He spoke to me through His word in Romans 10:14 which says, “how shall they hear without a preacher?” I am assured that God brought me where I am now because He will use me for His glory. My heart’s desire is to share Christ, to preach Christ and to glorify God. What motivates me now is that the God that saved me, changed me and used me will be the same God that will save, change and use others.
About Jocelyn
I'm Jocelyn Fodra-Buco. I grew up as a staff kid in Word of Life Camp. My father works as one of the maintenance staff. I heard the gospel when I was 10 at our church's bible club. I heard the beautiful news of Jesus dying to save sinners like me. I was convicted of sin and saw my need of a Savior. It was 2002 when I trusted Christ for my salvation. I am also involved in campus ministry discipling young ladies to become followers of Christ.
