About Emmanuel

I am from Buenos Aires, Argentina. When I was 11, I remember watching a Christian movie with my mother. She shared the gospel with me. I did not make any decision in front of her, but that got me thinking. That night I realized of the many things that I was keeping in my heart that God would call sin. So I decided to repent from all of my sins and ask Jesus to be my Savior.

After that, a new life in Christ began for me. I was full of joy going to church and really excited about this hope I found in him. A year later I got baptized in my church, and started to get involved in different ministries. Sadly, at the same time, my parents began to walk away from God. Being a teenager and having no boundaries at home affected my walk with God. I lived for a few years going to church by myself, but also going out at night with school friends. I was living a life set in the world that did not please God.

My church started to work with a new youth program called Bible Club that came from the ministry of Word of Life Argentina. God raised godly young men and women that set an example in my life, and they showed me his love in a practical way by caring for me. With the Bible Club, we went to Youth Camps at WOL every summer. God used these to make an impact on me.

As soon as I finished school I decided to join the ministry in the Bible club at my church. God was so good to me, and he let me lead for many years that ministry in my church. In the summer of 2010, I went to WOL camp , that week I was impacted by the word of God. The last night at the campfire, he spoke to me through a Bible verse that the preacher used, it was Proverbs 23:26 “My son, give me your heart, and let your eyes observe my ways.” I could not resist God anymore and had to make a radical change in my life. I set up priorities that placed God at the forefront of my life. That year I left everything in Buenos Aires and went to Bible College at Word of Life, Argentina.

For three years I experienced God working in my life through missionaries, ministry at church, life on campus and, of course, the classes. There I learnt that God has a passion for reaching everybody in this world, and that He wanted to use me.

God changed the perspective and direction of my life once again, and I believe he called me to serve him among youth. I cannot regret the decisions of my life because I can see his hand of protection and provision in every single step I take.

Life Verse

So I will very gladly spend for you everything I have and expend myself as well. If I love you more, will you love me less? 2 Corinthians12:15
