About Gerardo

I received Christ as my personal savior when I was 27 years old. As a religious man I found myself as a lost sinner who would face eternal death. So I understood that Jesus Christ had died for me on the cross to pay for all my sins. That is why by the end of November 1994 I accepted Jesus as my Savior. I can recall the peace and security I had for the first time at that time since I had eternal hope.

By that time, I had to sit for my last exam at university to get my degree as an Electronic Engineer. Andrea and I had been dating for five years so far, and we had our whole future planned. That same day, in November, she knew Christ as her Savior too. We had already set the date for our wedding, which was the following month. So in January 1995 we asked our Lord’s blessing for our marriage and we started our first steps in our Christian life with the responsibility of leading a Christian home. One month later we visited Word of Life Argentina for the first time during a camp week. That same day was the bonfire meeting, and it was in that meeting that I dedicated my life to the Lord. We left all our life and projects in His hands so that He decided and did according to His will which is good, acceptable and perfect.

Andrea and me decided to go to Bible Institute to study and prepare for three years. At that time we understood the God was calling us to become Word of Life missionaries. Consequently, we have been Word of Life missionaries in Argentina since 1999.

During these years God gave us three beautiful children, Gabriela 16; Daniel 14 and Lucía 12. They are our first ministry and we hope they can follow God’s will too.

God challenges us to serve Him with increasing excellence, that is why, in the past months we have decided, if God’s allows it, to go on studying in order to get a better training.

All the honor and glory belongs to the Lord.

About Andrea

I received Christ as my personal Savior when I was 25. God worked in my mind and heart making the arguments that made me an atheist fall. I had been living without any purpose or hope, a meaningless life but God transformed my life in an awesome way. The desire of living for Him and dedicating my life to His works was born in me. As a result, my husband and me dedicated our lives to the Lord and studied at the Bible Institute in Word of Life Argentina. After that the Lord called us to serve Him in that same ministry. These have been wonderful years where we could see the hand of God in our lives as well as thousands of young people’s lives transformed by the Lord through the ministry we belong to.

God gave us three children: Gabriela 16, Daniel 14 and Lucía 12. We could see them come to Christ and today we accompany them in their spiritual growth and we are very grateful to the Lord for their lives.

We are confident He began a good work and He will carry on to completion. So, we want to trust Him and live honoring Him and ready to defend our faith and be found faithful.
