Our missionaries are normal people from all walks of life who have dedicated their lives to serving and following Jesus wherever He calls them. Want to meet them? Check out our Missionary Directory.
Word of Life Czech Republic is focused on youth ministry. I am involved in camp ministry (summer and winter camps). My main role is communication with parents and registration of the campers. I am teaching English in the local schools as a way to build relationships with the kids in order to invite them for camps at WOL where they will be able to hear the Gospel! I am using the gifts and talents that God has given me in the field of administration, music, videography and design to be able to reach others for Christ and to bring God glory. This year I am working as an intern and I am excited to see how God will use me and what He has for me in my future long-term ministry.
I was born in the Czech Republic. My parents are believers and since my childhood we were attending a very conservative Brethren Plymouth church. I was saved at the age of 10 at Christian English camp and even though I heard the Gospel many times before, this was the first time that it touched me personally. It was hard for me to live out my faith as I attended church where there weren't any children or youth. Two years later I went to the same English camp. During one night's meeting I realized that my life was not pleasing to the Lord and I should give my life to Jesus fully, not just partly. I dedicated my life to Christ. After that summer, my family went through transition to a different church and it was so encouraging for me to see other young people following the Lord. I heard about Word of Life ministry for the first time when I moved to Brno to study at university to be a teacher. I came as a volunteer to WOL camp in 2013 and I fell in love with the ministry. Seeing so many kids making decision for Christ was mind blowing. After teaching for two years at Public Primary School, I had the chance to study at the Bible Institute (BI) in Hungary in 2019/2020 (after waiting 5 years to study at this school). One year at the BI made me realize that life is more than just building my own career. I made a decision to step up in faith and go into full-time ministry during Mission's conference in January 2020.
Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain. 1 Corinthians 15:58
