Missionaries to the Czech Republic

Ministry Description

We will be working with the missionaries in the Czech Republic, providing administrative help and support. We will also be involved in the discipleship of the interns there, as well as English demonstrations in the local schools as a way to make personal invitations to the children to attend camp at WOL where they will be able to hear the Gospel!

About Adam

I was raised in a moral home but neither of my parents were committed believers. When I was ten my father accepted Christ and my mother rededicated her life to the Lord. We began going to church which led me to go on a teen retreat when I was thirteen. At that event I accepted Christ. Through several combined events I began an almost immediate period of trial. It wasn't until the summer after my high school graduation that I dedicated my life to the Lord. A friend of mine had been killed by a drunk driver and at her wake I realized that I had never once shared my faith with her. That day I dedicated my life to learning the Word and helping others find new life in Christ. I came to the Bible Institute that fall of 1998, and have pursued ministry ever since.

I first felt the call to full-time ministry during a missions trip to Europe in 1999. Since that time I have pursued full-time Christian ministry and seen the Lord use me and my family greatly for the expansion of His kingdom. Recently, He has moved in my heart to take another step of faith and pursue a missionary assignment in the Czech Republic in order to increase the Gospel presence within one of the most atheistic countries in all of Europe.

About Julie

I was born into a Christian family and both parents love the Lord. From a young age, they taught me about Jesus and His sacrificial work on the cross to save me from my sins. I remember praying the prayer when I was 7, but it was at the age of 14 that God got a hold of my heart and life at a christian youth camp. After that time, I have had a passion for Him and His Word, which led me to come to Word of Life Bible Institute in 1998. I spent two years as a student and have been part of the ministry ever since! God has taught me so much and I'm so thankful for His love and grace in my life.

Recently, the Lord has been moving in our hearts, calling us to pull up the anchor and trust Him to guide us out of the harbor towards the mission field. We, along with our three children, are stepping out in faith, obedience, and excitement as we look forward to sharing the Light of Jesus in the Czech Republic.

Life Verse

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead." 1 Peter 1:3
