Our missionaries are normal people from all walks of life who have dedicated their lives to serving and following Jesus wherever He calls them. Want to meet them? Check out our Missionary Directory.
I’m Antje and I’ve been working for WOL since November 2015. My job is to plan, organize and lead camps, school trips and any groups booking our programs. It’s a great joy and privilege for me to create activities to connect with kids and youth and show them ways to get to know and connect with Jesus.
I was born into a non-Christian family, but my grandmother, my uncle and my cousin are Christians and so at the age of eleven in 1988 my cousin brought me to a WOL camp here in Starnberg where I got to know Jesus and accepted Him as my Savior. Many years later I dedicated my life to the Lord and got baptized. After working as a travel agent I decided to study social work with the goal that I can work full-time with children. During my studies and after an internship at the Torchbearer center in Sweden I came to the conclusion that for me it only makes sense to do Christian-centered social work and then I knew it was my way to work in full-time ministry.
