Our missionaries are normal people from all walks of life who have dedicated their lives to serving and following Jesus wherever He calls them. Want to meet them? Check out our Missionary Directory.
Since I got saved when I was 16 years old, my heartbeat has always been with young people and young professionals.
In our field, we have three main ministries - Camping Ministry, English Ministry, and Local Church Ministries.
I am the overall coordinator of both our Camping and English ministries. (You would want to hear more about these ministries!) I am mainly in charge of event coordination, data organization, media, other administrative tasks, student communication, teaching, discipleship, and counseling.
I have so many stories to tell from my experiences - learning the field's heart language, talking with people on the street, cultural immersion, realizations while on the field, and most importantly - the changed lives! We may be in a creative access / restricted and undisclosed country but the Lord has been doing great and mighty things here.
I grew up thinking I could save myself through my good works, educational attainment, and personal success. When I was 16 years old right before entering the university, God confronted me with the gospel that nothing besides faith in Jesus alone could save me. I decided to trust in Jesus that day and my life has never been the same. Changes were not easy but the Lord has been faithful. I know now why I am here on earth and that is to serve the Lord and give glory to God. Now, I have a personal relationship with God and it has been a wonderful journey until now.
I sensed the call to full-time ministry when I was in the Bible Institute while studying His Word. I realized that my life is too short and people are dying without having a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. God has lain in my heart to reach the unreached through cross-cultural missions.
Young people have a special place in my heart since I knew Jesus during this period. I believe discipling the young generation is an enormous task that is before the body of Christ today. Reaching the youth for the Lord will create a great impact on society and the world.
Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless, I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
