Ministry Description

Because of the size of our staff, everybody helps everywhere, but my major responsibility is with the Bible Institute, I’m the institutional secretary.

I work with the Life department, discipling and counseling some of the female students personally. My heart burns for young girls, and ministry-wise, I would like to work with that age group for the rest of my life.

I am also a MEBE teacher (Bible-teaching ministry in schools); and I help during camp season.

About Beatriz

I was born in a non-Christian home, in 1994 in São Paulo, Brazil. I started going to church with my siblings when I was five. As time went by, they left the Lord’s way, but by God’s grace, I didn’t go away. I received Christ at a camp when I was 12.

At the age of 17, I decided to go to a Bible School to learn more about Jesus. During that year I felt the Lord was calling me to go deeper in His Word. Up to that point, my wish was not to be a missionary, but to know more about the Bible. During that time, God was working in my life and leading me to become a full-time missionary. At the end of 2014, I went to Word of Life to do a three-month internship (I planned on going back home after that). During my internship, I clearly understood God was calling me to serve him full-time, and that my life had no meaning unless it was to live for him, to glorify him, and to dedicate all my days to serving him.

A Bible passage that moved me and has carried me on all this time is Acts 20.24. I have become passionate for the northeast of Brazil and his people, and it is a privilege to serve the Lord here full-time.

Since 2014 God has been working in me, teaching me about investing in what is eternal, sanctification and holiness, loving people, and investing in their lives.

Life Verse

“However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace”. Acts 20:24
