Ministry Description

I am currently serving in the home office in Lima as the assistant for the Bible Clubs missionaries. I am also involved in my local church as a leader in the youth group and discipling girls.

About Beatriz

I was born in the jungle of Peru in the city of Pucallpa. Growing up my family didn't know God. I have three sisters, and shortly after my birth my parents separated. During my childhood, I lived with my father and my older sister. At 12, I began to live with my mother in the city of Lima. At this stage of my life, I began to like the things the world would offer me. I began to make bad decisions. In 2008, I had a motorcycle accident that left me with injuries in my face and many parts of my body. I didn't like the way I looked after the accident, I was very dissatisfied but tried to hide my feelings. Two years later, in 2010, my mother died. That broke my heart even more. I often walked aimlessly through the streets, trying to understand why so many hard things happened in my life. It was hard for me to believe in the existence of God.

In 2011, I came to the Word of Life camp in Peru. I heard about Jesus, and that despite all that I have gone through in my life, He loved me and had given His life for me. I understood that I was a sinner, and that only the blood shed for me on the cross could cleanse me from all sin. I understood that He had risen and asked Him to come into my heart and give me eternal life. By his grace, in August of 2011, I started my studies in the Word of Life Bible Institute in Argentina, and by God's faithfulness, I finished in 2014. Since then, I have been serving with WOL Peru.
