Our missionaries are normal people from all walks of life who have dedicated their lives to serving and following Jesus wherever He calls them. Want to meet them? Check out our Missionary Directory.
For the past year and a half, my fiancé Brandon and I have been serving in Taiwan with a program called SYME. This program serves to teach local people English and the Bible through an immersive program where they can live through the application of those things. I enjoy seeing Christian students come through our program and deepening their relationship with God, and unbelievers being able to walk away with an understanding of who God is and what He's done for us. After Brandon and I get married and return, we will enter into some different responsibilities primarily revolving around strengthening local churches. God is good, and we are excited to see how He will continue to work in Taiwan!
As a child, I believed I had to earn my favor with God. It wasn't until I was 14 that I was able to see that Christ dying on the cross was something he did freely for me. Since then, I have been seeking after the Lord and his will for my life. In high school, I couldn't imagine doing anything other than being on the mission field, sharing God's free grace with others. I'm so grateful that God has allowed me to be a part of his plan in this way by serving in Taiwan.
Romans 12:2 "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect."
