Our missionaries are normal people from all walks of life who have dedicated their lives to serving and following Jesus wherever He calls them. Want to meet them? Check out our Missionary Directory.
I have been blessed with the opportunity to serve with Word of Life in Poland. Poland is very open to hearing the Gospel, and I am excited to be involved. The majority of the ministry I will be doing while I am there is filling in and supporting the team there as they arrive to grow and reach more for the Gospel.
I grew up in a Christian home raised by a single mother. Because of this I was in the church and always heard the Gospel, but I did not understand the relational aspect of it until I was 7 or 8 years old. That is when I knew the love that Jesus had for me in how He was willing to die for me. Fast forward a bit, my church was heavily involved in missions and I grew up wanting to support those missionaries financially and through short-term trips, but I did not want to go to serve full-time myself. During the spring semester of my second year at the Word of Life Bible Institute in New York that changed. It was during Missions Conference and it was as if God was saying, "You sing that you will go wherever I say and surrender all to Me, but then you don't. Give Me all of you." That was like a slap in the face to me, and I immediately applied for the Cross Cultural Internship so that God could use me wherever He sends me.
