Ministry Description

In my first year (2016/17) in the Word of Life Lake Koeris team, I served as the Dean on Students. In the school year 2017/18 I served as acting Ministry Coordinator, since our Director went on a sabbatical year. Since fall 2018, I have the privilege to oversee all our ministries and staff as Field Coordinator.

As a family and in ministry we want to be impacted by God and His word more and more in every aspect of life including the way we think, speak, interpret and feel, the way we raise our kids and relate to one another and the way we do ministry and what motivates us to do ministry.

About Christopher

I grew up in a Christian home. My parents were a role model to me as they were ministering to the youth of our home town as well as in Eastern Europe. Early in my life I accepted Christ as my personal Savior. In my late teenage years there was an extended period of not living for God and doing what I wanted. My faith did not impact any life decisions. But God in His grace did not let my go astray. He drew me back and helped me to break with my sin and follow him. After a year of Community Service I moved to the Netherlands to study at university. An older lady in my new church there gave me a study Bible one day. I also had the chance to spent some weeks during semester breaks under the sound teaching of God´s Word. It hugely impacted my life to get to know the Word of God better. After three years of studying in the Netherlands, God clearly led me to the Word of Life Bible Institute in Germany to which I haven´t had any contact before in life.

I studied at Word of Life Lake Koeris (Germany) in 2010/11. During that time God made it clear to me that I should go to the Giessen School of Theology (a Christian, Bible-believing Seminary in Germany) to prepare for full time ministry. I met my dear wife Wiebke during the one year program at Word of Life and we married in 2013. After studying 5 years at the Seminary, we moved back to Word of Life in 2016.

Life Verse

For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and judgments. (Ezra 7:10)
