Our missionaries are normal people from all walks of life who have dedicated their lives to serving and following Jesus wherever He calls them. Want to meet them? Check out our Missionary Directory.
I am so excited to be able to do the Cross Cultural Internship in South Africa. Being an intern my position is to aid the missionaries in their work, as well as learn from the experience myself. I will be involved in many ministries that they do, including; sports evangelism, missions trips, Bible clubs, leadership training, community outreaches, kid's and youth ministries, weekend events, mini camps and discipleship. However, day to day, I will be doing my studies online and discipling students who are attending the Discipleship Training Center. I will be able to be involved in the diverse ministry opportunities during the week and on the especially on the weekends.
I had the privilege of growing up in a family that loves the Lord and loves people. My parents have been missionaries in Romania for the last 23 years and their faithful ministry has impacted me greatly. Hearing and learning a lot about the Lord at a young age, I realized my need for a Savior and made the decision to trust in Christ at eight years old. My parents did a wonderful job of involving my siblings and I in the ministry and seeing them serve and realizing the great need people have to know the Lord sensitized my heart for missions. God has been cultivating this desire in me through the last two years that I have had at the Bible Institute. I feel more equipped and encouraged to share my faith with others after all of the Biblical teaching that I received. God is still at work in my life, teaching and maturing me, and my desire is to be obedient and willing to serve Him.
Joshua 22:5b "But take careful heed...to love the LORD your God, to walk in all His ways, to keep His commandments, to hold fast to Him, and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul."
