Our missionaries are normal people from all walks of life who have dedicated their lives to serving and following Jesus wherever He calls them. Want to meet them? Check out our Missionary Directory.
We work with Caribbean Short Term Missions as part of the Administrative Team. Julie coordinates all the church and individual registrations for our trips and Dave sets up all flights and in country details. He travels with Mark Hall to train Caribbean local churches and works with host country accommodations.
Praise the Lord I grew up in an active Christian family where my both of my parents and all 4 of my grandparents loved and served the Lord faithfully in their local churches! Because of that, I have always been in church and come to know the Lord as my personal Savior at a young age. As I grew up, I was able to see my parents and grandparents using their gifts and talents to serve the Lord in the local church. Even as a teen ager, they all encouraged me to be serving the Lord in the local church. Through the death of one of my grandmothers, my senior year in high school, I was able to visit Word of Life Bible Institute in NY and it was there the Lord began directing my path for ministry. I attended 2 years at the Bible Institute and met my wife during the second year. After we were married, I finished my degree Liberty University and volunteered with a short term missions organization in the area. We then moved to her hometown of Lexington, NC to help in the family businesses and began serving the Lord in the local church. While attending Sheets Memorial Baptist Church I met Dave Kelly, who is a Word of Life missionary as well. The doors began to open to reconnect with Word of Life and eventually led to the Caribbean Short Term Ministry we now help administrate and work with in the countries of St Maarten, Anguilla, Bahamas, Curacao, St. Lucia, Trinidad the Cayman Islands.
And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. - 2 Timothy 2:2
