Our missionaries are normal people from all walks of life who have dedicated their lives to serving and following Jesus wherever He calls them. Want to meet them? Check out our Missionary Directory.
God has blessed me with the amazing opportunity to be a full time missionary through Word of Life’s Cross-Cultural Internship (CCI). I am eager to embark on this new and exciting journey. I will be ministering in San Miguel Del Monte at the Palabra de Vida (Word of Life) location in Argentina. I will be serving alongside countless other missionaries as I learn how to minister through hands-on missions. I have the incredible opportunity to attend language classes where I will be able to assimilate the Spanish language and share the Gospel in their national tongue. The various ministries I will be involved in includes the Bible Institute’s Bilingual Program through discipleship, local church ministry, and so much more. Due to the fact that the ministry in Argentina is fairly large and well-developed, there are many opportunities to further my ministry skills and to try new things.
I am so excited for this new step…It’s only possible through the faithfulness of God.
I was blessed by God to be born into a Christian home where I was continually taught of the amazing love that Christ showed me when he paid for my sins on the cross. I accepted Jesus as my Savior when I was very young. Even though I knew what Christ had done for me, I searched for satisfaction in other things. I was always trying to find something to make me happy. I lived my life in a constant state of trying to please myself, trying to get to the next thing. This way of life was tiresome, nothing seemed to fulfill the desire I had to be satisfied.
In his goodness, God brought me to Word of Life Bible Institute. Over the past two years the Lord has radically changed my life. He placed people and circumstances in my life that challenged me to grow in my faith. I, like the Apostle Paul have, “…learned in whatever situation I am to be content. I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” (Phil 4:11-13)
I have learned that Christ IS my satisfaction. He is enough for me. He is the ultimate sacrifice that satisfied my sin-debt and He satisfies my heart with the hope I have in Him.
From a young age the Lord placed the desire in my heart to go to South America. The culture, language, and people have always fascinated me. As a child I remember reading about the heartbreak of Colombia, with all of it's drug cartels, prostitution, and hopelessness. From that moment on God placed a desire in my heart to show the hope and love of Jesus to South America. I do not know exactly what the future holds for me but I know that God will be with me each step of the way.
I don’t want to leave a legacy.
I don’t care if they remember me,
I only have one life to live,
I’ll let every second point to Him.
Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed," says the LORD, who has compassion on you. Isaiah 54:10
