Our missionaries are normal people from all walks of life who have dedicated their lives to serving and following Jesus wherever He calls them. Want to meet them? Check out our Missionary Directory.
I was born in Christian a family in 1993. When I was 17 years old I got pregnant and because of the shame I left home. My mother kept encouraging to come back home saying I was still her child and after two years I agreed. This reminded me of the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32 and I could tell that God still loved me. After one year I lost my friend and at her funeral I got to think about what testimony I would have when I die and who would pray for me. After a few days i got baptised and so I thought I was saved.
After one year I got an opportunity of attending a youth leaders training in which I was selected to be among those that would attend the Word of Life Africa Bible Institute. I didn't welcome the opportunity as I was trying to find ways of earning money for my son's school fees but with mom's encouragement I decided to take it up.
During the camp fire I heard God's word from Romans. 8:32 and John. 3:16 and that day i gave my life to Christ and made a decision to dedicate my life, all that I am, all that i have and all that i ever hoped to be.
After a year at the Bible institute I attended the missionary in training conference and during the conference I was convicted by Matthew 28:19-20 that tells us to go make disciples of all nations. It's at that point that I decided to become a missionary to my country Rwanda. I desire to continue to learn God's word and making disciples to the end.
