Ministry Description

Hey everyone! I have the amazing opportunity to serve full-time on Overflow Legacy this coming year! Overflow Legacy is a full-time Worship band that travels up and down the east-coast playing at different schools and churches sharing the gospel and building relationships with students, young adults, and really anybody that we have the opportunity to meet!

In the winter we have an opportunity to lead worship at Word of Life's intersect camps in Ohio and California, where hundreds of young people come to have fun. We will have the beautiful opportunity to share the gospel with them and lead them in worship. In the spring we will get the opportunity to travel with Word of Life's second year class on a missions' reality trip and take the gospel to a different country. I cannot wait to see how God uses this ministry to impact lives for eternity!

About Hannah

I wasn't raised in a Christian home. I endured a lot of brokenness as a child that by the grace of God led me to His feet. I had attended church with my grandma before, but I had never made the decision to go for myself. When I was seven years old my parents got a divorce and we moved near an aunt of mine that offered to take me to church. It took me a while to take her up on her offer but by the time I started middle school, I decided to start going. I went to church and heard the gospel and decided to receive Jesus as my savior when I was eleven years old. For the rest of middle school, I was on fire for the Lord. I loved going to church, I loved being around my Christian friends, I loved being a Christian all- around. However, when I got in high-school, I began to realize that being a Christian didn't get me the love of the world that I also desired to have. Shortly after I entered High-school, I got into a bad relationship and a bad friend crowd. I started to live my life for myself and by my junior year, I had found myself in a dark pile of brokenness. In the midst of my brokenness, God seen it fit for a Word of Life Worship band to come to my high school, and for divine reasons, I was there. The young adults on the stage that night spoke so much life into me that it made me realize that i was broken because i had been living for myself. That night i dedicated my life back to God and began to live a sold-out life for Him. Since then, I have attended three amazing mission trips to further his gospel, and I have attended two years of Bible college with Word of life. God has opened this amazing door for me, and now I get to impact people in a similar way that my own life was impacted, I am amazed at this opportunity before me, and I cannot wait to see how God uses it.

Life Verse

2 Corinthians 12:9 "But he said to me, ' My grace is sufficient for you. For my power is made perfect in weakness, Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
