Our missionaries are normal people from all walks of life who have dedicated their lives to serving and following Jesus wherever He calls them. Want to meet them? Check out our Missionary Directory.
As a young couple we're serving the Lord in Local Church Ministries, focusing on Bible Clubs, visiting churches, discipling and equipping young leaders for their ministries. We're also in charge of "Resources for Leaders", developing contents and training sessions for Youth Leaders, and following up with their lives and ministries.
I was born in Mexico in a non-christian home. At the age of 8 my mom started attending church and she took us with her, but it wasn't until the age of 13 that I knew Christ and began a relationship with Him. When I was 18 I understood the Lord was moving me towards serving Him as a full-time missionary, so he took me to Argentina to study at Word of Life's Bible Institute. After studying the word of God for 3 years at the Bible Institute, the Lord called me to return to my country, to Mexico. This is where I've been serving for the past five years, and it's been amazing to serve through Bible Clubs. And our passion is to transmit the life of Jesus to every single teen and young adult we have the opportunity to serve! God's grace has been present in every part of my life and service. To God be the glory for what He does every day in His people and work.
I accepted Christ at the age of four years old. Having grown up in a Christian home and in the church, I understood that I was a sinner and needed Jesus to be my personal Savior. I am thankful for a Christ-loving family who influenced my life so greatly! At the age of thirteen the Lord called me to "go" as a missionary during a missions conference at my church. As I got older I began to live a double life, growing further away from the Lord. It wasn't until I graduated high school and started taking steps of faith that I realized my salvation is not just about having a Savior but having a relationship with my Savior. I had the privilege of going to Guatemala for three months after high school to help with Word of Life summer camp where God opened the doors to go study at Word of Life Argentina. I was accepted into the Bilingual Bible Program at Word of Life Argentina in 2012, and I graduated from three years in the Bible Institute in Argentina in April, 2016. When finishing my studies in Argentina, I was accepted into a two year "Cross Cultural Internship" with Word of Life. Through the internship I served one year (2017) in Argentina, and year 2018 in Mexico, when I was married to Isaac. I thank the Lord for His grace and mercy, and for the unexpected changes He has done in my life over the years.
I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. ~ Galatians 2:20
