Hello, I'm Joel, I was born in a home with a lot of problems, dad did not have a job, every day my parents fought and were on the edge of separation. Mom looked for God in her own way and passed through several churches that did not have a biblical teaching. One day we arrived at a Church that was beginning, Mom decided that we all were, my Dad always rejected God. I had a lot of hatred and resentment, I did not understand why God allowed us to go through so many problems, I hated my father. After going to church for two years, I decided to stop fighting with God and received his forgiveness. God made me free from hatred and filled my heart with love. Was 14 years old. The next year I was baptized, My pastor started inviting me to go out and evangelize house by house. God began to put that desire to serve Him. But I still had to leave my future to God. I had plans to pursue a career and help my family get out of poverty. all that took me away from God. I was in my last year of university, I was 23 years old, in a camp of the word of Life, I felt the call of God, I really understood what it meant to give everything to God. I had a good job, plans to continue my studies but their call was so strong, I left everything and went to study at the Biblical Institute of the Word of Life in Argentina. In my third year at the Bible Institute, I met Irai as we served together on a missionary trip through South America. We got married in 2008. God allowed us to open a region with Bible clubs and start a leadership training center. Our dream of reaching youth around the world began, by nine years we serve in Peru. But God had other plans to reach more people with the gospel and he took us to Mexico. We have been serving in Queretaro for three years and we can be part of training young people from 15 countries, teaching them the word of God with the challenge of training the next generation of men and women for their service throughout the region of Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean, everything for its glory!
I am originally from Mexico. I met Christ at the age of 9. I heard the message of salvation with my family. I realized that Christ loved me and I received Him as my personal savior. God then allowed me to grow in the Christian life, but over the years I began to live a life of hypocrisy, doing things that God did not like, but still serving in my church. During that time I met the ministry of Word of Life, and God used a missionary couple to challenge me in my life and live according to what God wanted. That took me to make the decision to study in the WOL Bible Institute in Argentina in 2005. It was a great opportunity to learn more about my Lord and make the decision to serve full time in ministry. And it was there that I met my husband. We have a son and a daughter: Joshua of five years and Nayeli. of tre years old.
Philippians 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
