Our missionaries are normal people from all walks of life who have dedicated their lives to serving and following Jesus wherever He calls them. Want to meet them? Check out our Missionary Directory.
Sue and I are part-time missionaries with Word of Life. We are specifically focusing on traveling to Word of Life ministries that have a Bible Institute. I teach a variety of Bible courses to the Institute students in their first and/or second year of study. Sue and I both counsel while on the field with the missionaries, staff, and/or students. We are there to listen and encourage. We are excited about what God is already doing in the lives of four locations that we have had the privilege of visiting. Our eternal impact has been a great blessing as we have ministered to students and in the local churches where we were staying. We are super excited to be able to travel to WOL Argentina in May of 2021 along with Joni & Friends (a world-wide ministry to those with disabilities) and teach at the Bible Institute there. We will also be ministering in local churches that desire a ministry to those with disabilities. We will be traveling with a small team from Joni & Friends as we challenge the students at the Argentina Word of Life Bible Institute. (This trip is currently on hold because of COVID.)
Our next trip after the possibility of Argentina is a two week ministry trip back to Uganda. This would be two weeks of teaching the book of Acts to their Bible Institute students. We are planning on traveling in September if all the restrictions are lifted and we believe we can safely travel again. This looks like it will happen. We are checking on all the COVID procedures and protocols in Uganda.
We are thrilled to have you as part of our team with your financial support and prayers
We are scheduled to travel to WOL Budapest, Hungary in February of 2022. We will be teaching (live, this time) the Joni & Friends curriculum "Beyond Suffering"-ministry to families with members who are challenged with a disability. We taught this via ZOOM in March of 2021 to 16 students. It was a great experience. We are so excited to be able to share our life experiences with a disabled child and challenge the students to always be aware of those who are differently-abled.
