Our missionaries are normal people from all walks of life who have dedicated their lives to serving and following Jesus wherever He calls them. Want to meet them? Check out our Missionary Directory.
For the next two years, we will be working with Word of Life as Cross-Cultural Interns as they seek to reach the next generation with the good news of Jesus! Through camps, sports marathons, Bible clubs, and partnering with local churches and schools, our ministry will take on many different forms. We are eager to see how the Lord will stretch, grow, and use us in the months to come. Please pray for us!
Our goal throughout this journey is also to come alongside each of you - our beloved friends and family, and encourage you in each of your walks with the Lord. We would love to set up a time to meet with you (in person, or virtually) to share about what God is doing in our lives, hear what he's doing in yours, and see how we can encourage and support one another along the way. After all, we are all one body working together towards a common goal: to know Jesus and to make Him known. All to the glory of God!
I grew up in a church plant in Concord, New Hampshire. The Lord has cultivated a love for the North East, and a great desire to help believers here (and everywhere!) learn what it means to follow Jesus as our Rabbi and Teacher. Through walking with the Lord and trusting him with each step of the journey, I'm now learning to be a godly husband to Mayson and a faithful brother to everyone I meet. My desire is to share the hope of Jesus with those in Portugal and anyone else the Lord brings into our path.
My family has been involved in missions with Word of Life Portugal since 2008, and I went on my first trip there in 2012. Since then, the Lord has continued to grow my love for this country and the work he is doing there. It has been my dream to serve there as a missionary since I was 15 years old! The Lord opening this door for us has been a seven-year long journey of trusting him with the desires of my heart and having patience as he has molded and grown me into the woman he wants me to be. After all, he is a loving Father who cares far more about who we are than the things we do.
I'm so excited to see what the next two years hold. I'm passionate about discipleship, hospitality, and administration. Please pray for me as I seek to use these gifts to glorify God in Portugal!
