Ministry Description
In 2022, I clearly felt God's call to serve in another country, which led me to discover the ministry of Word of Life Austria. From that moment, I decided to move to Austria, and since 2023, I have had the privilege of serving full-time in this mission field, bringing the message of the Gospel to a nation where many still do not know Christ.
At Word of Life Austria, I contribute to the planning of camps, helping to organise events that directly impact the lives of young people and teenagers. I am also responsible for managing our social media, focusing on video editing and creating relevant content. Additionally, I am actively involved in weekly youth and teen ministries in local churches, with a special focus on discipleship.
Moreover, I lead the Higher programme, a year-long training and discipleship project for teenagers. This programme aims to provide a solid foundation in the faith, with monthly classes and personalised mentoring, so these young people can develop a Christ-centred faith rooted in the Scriptures.
My greatest desire is to see Austria and Europe profoundly transformed by the love of Christ. I pray that the Gospel will once again take a central place in people's hearts, impacting this generation and those to come.
About Jota
I had the privilege of growing up in a Christian home, where my family always guided me in the faith and encouraged me to serve Jesus from a young age. However, as I matured, I realised that my faith was based on my parents' beliefs rather than personal convictions. I spoke about what they believed, but I didn’t truly understand if I believed it myself.
At the age of 14, during a camp, I was deeply impacted by the teachings about the heroes of faith and their spiritual journeys. At that moment, I felt God speaking directly to my heart, leading me to make a genuine decision to accept Christ as my Lord and Saviour. From that day forward, I chose to live an authentic faith, built on my own experience with God.
In 2020, I felt the call to deepen my biblical knowledge and decided to enrol in the Palavra da Vida Brazil seminary. For a year, I immersed myself in the study of the Scriptures and the person of Jesus. That period was transformative, and it was then that I decided to dedicate my life to full-time ministry. I understood that my life would only make sense if I lived out the divine calling, as stated in Acts 20:24.
Life Verse
Acts 20:24: "But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God."
