Missionary to Brazil Northeast Recife

Ministry Description

My responsibilities will include working directly with our youth ministries in Recife, Brazil(Mobilize). More specifically in the area of Local Church Ministry. To work with churches in two big areas. The first is working with them and providing tools for an effective youth ministry. The second area will be in the area of training youth leaders. On a functionality level I will be traveling to these churches to help them with their youth ministries.

On weekly basis:

I will be contacting churches and working with them to develop leaders and youth ministries within the church.

Preparing lessons and materials for the churches.

Helping with other youth based ministries on WOL campus.

Secondary functions:

IT department for WOL Campus.

Bi-weekly Campus upkeep work.

About Levi

I grew up in a Christian home and went to church every week. Between the ages of 10 to11 years, I began to question what it meant to be a Christian and where I stood with God. By age 11, I had accepted Christ as my personal Savior from my sins and put my faith in Him. I continued my life within the church, participating in various short term missions trips with Teenserve and my Church. A couple of these trips were to WOL Recife, Brazil.

In 2019 I began to heavily question my original plans for my life. And God began pushing me towards the idea of full time missions. With that in mind, I decided I needed a stronger biblical base to make such a big decision. At that point I sought to study one year with Word of Life Bible Institute. Later I was invited to the Institute in Recife since I had already been there. During my time there I studied for 3 years and functioned as an intern for 2 of those years. These years at the Institute were the years where I had the biggest growth in my Christian life and my walk with God. Also during these years I developed my love and enjoyment of working in the local church, especially in the areas of youth discipleship, teaching, and youth leaders. At this point I came to see the need in Brazil for more youth leaders and youth discipleship tools. God used this to help finalize my decision for full-time ministry with local churches and ministry in Brazil.
