Our missionaries are normal people from all walks of life who have dedicated their lives to serving and following Jesus wherever He calls them. Want to meet them? Check out our Missionary Directory.
As the Assistant Dean of Women, my main responsibility is to provide leadership to the female students to help provide an atmosphere where they can grow in their relationship with fellow believers, and with Christ. This is done through counselling the students one-on-one, being available to talk and give biblical counsel and advice when needed, as well as speaking to the girls in more formal settings, whether that is chapel or evening devotions. Along with the Dean of Men, I also assist in planning student life activities, such as banquets, talent shows, and student outings as well as organizing chapel services for the students. As a staff at the Bible Institute, we are passionate about seeing young men and women study God's Word, and grow in their love for their Saviour. In all that I do, I strive to do it with that goal in mind.
I am from Nobleton, Ontario, where I attended church from a young age. It was when I was 16 years old that I realized my need for a Saviour, and put my faith in Jesus Christ to save me from my sins. Once finished high school, I attended the first and second year programs at the Word of Life Bible Institutes in Owen Sound and New York (respectively), and was also on the Resonate team, as well as a Resident Assistant Intern and Camp Administrator at the Owen Sound campus. Through these years the Lord has grown in me a desire to minister to young women and to be involved in missions. I am privileged to see both of these passions become a reality as I serve as the Assistant Dean of Women at the Bible Institute.
