Ministry Description
I've had the opportunity to live in Austria since 2016, witnessing and being part of my parents' ministry. Now, since joining Word of Life Austria in June 2024, I've taken on a more active role in the ministry, getting to share the gospel in a country where very few know Christ. My responsibilities in this wonderful ministry include planning outreach events like camps, managing marketing and media, and supporting local church ministries, particularly in kids' and youth programs. I’m passionate about discipleship, evangelism, and building intentional relationships. My desire is to see young people grow in their understanding of God, develop a genuine love for Him, and be empowered to share the gospel with their friends—impacting Austria and Europe. Through these efforts, I hope every student everywhere hears the gospel from a friend.
About Lukas
I had the privilege of being born into a Christian home, where my parents loved the Lord and were also involved in ministry in Brazil. I accepted Jesus as my Savior at a young age, though I don’t remember the exact moment I am sure that I made a decision for Christ.
As I grew, I realized my faith had been shaped by others' opinions. Moving to Austria at 15 challenged my beliefs, as I no longer had a Christian community for validation. Feeling lost, I struggled without the admiration I was used to. But over time, God worked in my heart, showing me that my relationship with Him wasn’t about how others saw me, but how He sees me. I learned to focus on Him, realizing His opinion is the one that truly matters.
During my time at Bible Institute, God opened my eyes to the vast spiritual need in the world. I felt that He was calling me to dedicate my life to full-time ministry. Over time, He placed a deep burden on my heart for the people of Austria, where there is such a great need for the gospel, leading me to serve there.
