Our missionaries are normal people from all walks of life who have dedicated their lives to serving and following Jesus wherever He calls them. Want to meet them? Check out our Missionary Directory.
I grew up going to church and accepted Jesus as my savior at a young age. But it wasn't until my first year at the Word of Life Bible Institute in Florida, that I even considered going into ministry. During that year, I began to feel the Lord calling me to do more with my life than just volunteering at church on Sundays. After our January Missions Conference and learning first hand about what a great need there for missionaries even in first world countries, my heart began to break for the people who so desperately needed the Lord, and I felt the Lord leading me to submit my life to pursuing ministry. That spring, I went on my first missions trip out of the country and I saw first-hand the doors that opened simply because I was ministering away from home and out of my comfort zone.
As a Cross Cultural Intern, I get the opportunity to serve as a missionary overseas, while I get my degree online in Graphic Design. God is continuing to work in my life and is still deepening my love for Him and furthering my knowledge of how I can use my gifts and passions to serve Him and to make Him known.
