Ministry Description

Norah is involved in different aspects of the ministry. She helps with cooking, and running the snack shack during our events. She also disciples some girls that are a part of Discipleship Training Center (CED).

About Norah

I was born into a catholic family and I lived on a farm with my parents until I was 8 years old. My siblings and I went to live with my older sister in the city, but returned to the farm on the weekends. In my adolescence I grew angry with my parents, and even as a minor, I decided to leave home and live on my own.

I moved to Argentina to find work. I heard of a group of young people that would gather to play Foosball, not too far from where I lived, and out of curiosity I went there. A girl shared the gospel with me, but I did not understand it. She invited me to a family pic-nic event at Word of Life where they presented the gospel during a "Born Again to a Living Hope", and that day I accepted Christ as my savior and understood that I was now a new creation (2 Cor. 5;17). I was given a new start! My life was changed.

In 1999 I went to the Word of Life Argentina summer camp, where I was deeply impacted by the love of everyone there. I dedicated my life at the campfire, for Him to use me however he wanted. the Lord put a desire in my heart to serve Him in full-time ministry, so I began to pray about attending the Bible Institute. The Lord opened that door in 2001. In 2006 I returned to Bolivia and I have been serving as a missionary since 2008.
