Ministry Description
Word of Life Hungary creates faith-defining experiences that give campers, students and families the opportunity to encounter God and grow in their spiritual walks.
About Peter
Peter, a Hungarian native, and Lara, from the Netherlands, along with their children William and Sarah. This family of four is on a journey of faith and service, with a calling to know, follow, and proclaim Christ.
Peter and Lara's story began in Hungary, where they met during their time at Calvary Chapel Bible College. Their love for each other and their shared passion for spreading the word of God led them to Dubai, where they spent a decade building their careers and raising their two children, William and Sarah. While in Dubai, Peter immersed himself in music, working as a professional musician and teacher, while Lara found her calling in finance, serving the local church community.
In the summer of 2019, they received the Lord’s calling to ministry with Word of Life in Hungary. Answering the call, they relocated to Hungary in the spring of 2020, eager to embark on this new chapter of their lives as missionaries.
Peter now serves as the Music Director at Word of Life, overseeing music and production across all ministry branches. He dedicates his time to mentoring and training a group of students, shaping them into an impactful outreach and worship band for God's kingdom. Weekly, Peter leads this team to various local churches, schools, and youth groups, spreading the gospel throughout Hungary.
In addition to their ministry commitments, the Antals open their home to host a fellowship for 7-9 students, fostering community and discipleship.
As devoted members of Calvary Chapel Budapest, Peter serves as lead guitarist and one of the Music Directors, contributing his talents to the church's worship experience.
