Missionaries to Guatemala

Ministry Description

God has given us the opportunity to work with Bible Clubs in the southern part of Guatemala (Escuintla) and in the central area (San Juan Sacatepequez). We serve as support for youth groups in seven churches by organizing leadership training conferences, sports marathons and other events that help the students develop spiritually. This year we are entering a new stage as we have received the challenge of heading up the Bible Club ministry for all of Guatemala. We also participate in various evangelistic activities planned by the ministry as well as in the teaching of values in the Public Schools. We help our coordinate our local church Sunday School classes and teach in at our Discipleship Training Center (CCM).

About Rony

I accepted Christ as my personal savior as a child, and growing up I was always interested in serving the Lord. In the year 1998 we were introduced to Word of Life and years later my wife and I became part of the staff in Guatemala. We have seen God's hand in what we are doing and today we have the privilege of being part of the ministry as a family working in the southern area of the country.

God has blessed us with two children who are an important part of our ministry, Eduardo is 14 years old and Pablo 8 years old. Two children who are growing and learning to serve the Lord with us.

About Corin

I grew up in a Christian home where we practiced daily prayer, Bible reading and we faithfully attended our local church. Even though I knew all about the Gospel, It wasn't until I was 9 years old that I made a personal decision to trust Christ as my savior. The Lord gave me the opportunity to grow up in a church where I was able to learn to serve Him in different aspects and to share the Gospel with others.

Today we serve as a family with Word of Life Guatemala taking the Gospel of Christ to the needy.
