I was born in a Buddhist family who worshiped ancestors. In middle school, I became rebellious and got in with the wrong crowd. In my early 20s, I served two years in the Korean Army. During that time an officer shared the gospel with me. The next Sunday when I went to the temple I could not now, realizing Buddha was just a statue. A week later my captain sent me to a church service where I again heard the gospel. That day I accepted Jesus as my Savoir. After being discipled in Korea, I went to the US and studied the Bible for four years. God has called me to serve Korean young people with Word of Life Korea.
I was born in a non-Christian family. When I was 11 years old, I started attending church with my mom and younger brother, but I did not meet Jesus personally until I was 22. At that time I learned the Wordless Book through Child Evangelism Fellowship. While practicing it, I understood the gospel and realized I was a sinner. As a result, I realized Jesus as my Savior and soon decided to devote my life to serving the Lord. In 2001, wanting to be discipled, I went to Word of Life Korea. The following year I attended Word of Life Bible Institute in NY. Now I am serving the Lord with my husband and my two daughters at Word of Life Korea.
Acts 20:24 "But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God."
