About Steve
I was raised on the mission field and have always considered this a great privilege. When I was about 5 years old I accepted the Lord Jesus into my heart. During the ups and downs of my teenage years, I fought a real battle with self acceptance but with God's help I eventually realized that my worth came through Christ and this made all the difference in the world. After college the Lord took me through “boot camp” for 2 years preparing me for future service and in 1989 the Lord led me back to Brazil to help out for a year at the Word of Life Bible Seminary. During that year God made it clear to me that that was where He wanted me to serve Him.
About Mirian
I accepted the Lord as my Savior at the age of 6 during a thunderstorm when I told my mom that I was afraid and during our conversation she led me to Christ. Since that day I wanted to be a missionary. After high school I wanted to go to the Word of Life Bible Seminary but the Lord had other immediate plans for me. 9 years later His plans led me to the Seminary and that is where I met Steve. One of many blessings that the Lord has given me is that He has called Steve and me to be missionaries
Life Verse
Steve’s verse - James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. Mirian’s verse - Philippians 1:6 …being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
