Ministry Description
We serve in the area of open air evangelism, and teaching churches how to evangelize. During camp I am involved in the area of program and Catalina is the camp nurse.
About Victor
I was born into a Catholic home. There are 4 boys in my family and I am the third. When I was 8 years old I started going to a Sunday school class at a evangelistic church, but I was never secure in my salvation. When I was 12, I received Christ as my savior and knew I had eternal life . When I was 16 years I went to summer camp at Word of Life Chile, and during that week I dedicated my life to the Lord. When I graduated from high school I was 17 and I decided to study at the Word of Life Bible Institute in Argentina to prepare to become a missionary. I studied for 3 years and then when I graduated I came back to Chile in 1991 to join the missionary staff of Word of Life Chile. During this time I had met Catalina while she was studying nursing. We felt the Lord leading us to get married, and we were married in 1995.
About Cata
When I was 9 I was invited to a children's meeting near my house. A missionary from ABWE told me about God's love and my need of a savior. It was then I received Jesus in my heart. I continued going to an Evangelistic church growing up. When I was 16 I was invited to summer camp at Word of Life Chile, and it was during that week that I dedicated my life to the Lord. When I finished high school I studied nursing for 3 years. During that time I had met Victor and we were engaged. When I finished nursing school I went to the Word of Life Bible Institute for 1 year and when I came home Victor and I were married and I joined the staff of Word of Life Chile. The Lord has blessed us with 3 beautiful children. I am so thankful to the Lord for the opportunity to evangelize and disciple. I am also thankful for the opportunity to serve the Lord as a nurse at Word of Life.
Life Verse
Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you: 2 Thessalonians 3:1
