We want to see every young person in Northeast Brazil taking their next step with Jesus.
With a commitment to transformative biblical instruction, intentional discipleship, and relational outreach, we’re dedicated to empowering every young person in Northeast Brazil to embrace Jesus as their next step.
I accepted Christ when I was three, but it wasn’t until my teen years, at a Word of Life camp rally, that I fully grasped what Jesus’ death truly meant for my life and eternity. After nearly eight years in the U.S., God has made it clear that He is calling our family back to Brazil to reach our people and train leaders for Him. Like 2 Timothy 4:3-5, I feel called to teach and mentor the youth of my country with sound doctrine.
I am currently earning a Doctor of Ministry degree in Leadership so I can better serve in the ministries and positions God will open at Word of Life Recife (Brazil).
I came to Christ when I was 15. For a long time, I believed I was saved simply because I lived a morally balanced life and wasn’t the worst teenager. However, it was during a Word of Life missions trip that I truly surrendered my life to Christ and committed to following His will. After attending the Word of Life Bible Institute in Brazil, I’m now excited to join the staff as a full-time missionary, ready to invest in others' lives—just as someone once invested in mine.
2 Timothy 4:3-5 For the time is coming when people will not endure sound[a] teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.
