Ministry Description

Overflow legacy exists to glorify God and share Christ through music, service, and uplifting interactions, acknowledging that this world desperately needs to see the hope of the Gospel and to experience the love of Jesus Christ. The band will be traveling to neighboring states, playing in church services, youth events, conferences, and so forth. The Overflow Legacy Band is typically a 1-year-long program. By the end of the term, the band will have the opportunity to go on a mission trip to one of the Word Of Life locations around the world to help support the missionaries there. Overflow Legacy represents Word Of Life Fellowship both in the United States and abroad. On this team, I will get the chance to play bass, sing, and preach the Gospel to young teens, kids, and churches.

About Ethan

I was born in Tennessee in July of 2003, but my family moved down to Florida when I was 4. At this time, my parents also got a divorce. Soon after, my Mom meets my Step-Dad, marries him, and from this I gain two step-sisters, Mackenzie and Madison, eventually gaining another sister in 2011 named Olivia. At 9 years old, I was visiting some family in Tennessee and they took me to VBS. This was where I heard the Gospel, and asked some family friends how I could accept this message while on the way to my house. They walked me through a prayer and explained the ABC's of salvation, and that was the moment I believed in Christ Jesus as Lord! Here I believe I was forgiven of all my sins and made a new creation! I got baptized at my home church 3 months later.

I felt called to full-time vocational ministry when I was 15 years old. I was heading back from a youth retreat with my youth group, and I felt this call to be a preacher of the Gospel. I shared with my youth pastor, and continued on in high school. I ended up making the choice to go to Word of Life Bible Institute for two years (the first in Florida, the second in New York). While in Florida, I got to serve on the Overflow Worship Band playing bass and singing. It was quite an amazing and growing opportunity to learn about what worship truly looks like in all areas of one's life.

I heard about the Overflow Legacy Band during my first year, and ever since I heard about it, knew it would be a great next step to take to grow in both living a life of service and worship. Now, I am seeking monthly supporters, gift givers, and prayer warriors to support me in this endeavor of service to the Lord!
