Ministry Description
Our main ministry at Word of Life Mexico is the area of Communication and Media.
Today, young people consume visual media in an impressive way and it is our desire to create digital media that impacts their lives in a positive way. Our responsibility is to develop resources for the Bible Institute, Summer Camps, evangelistic support, support for the Local Church, activities with Pastors, Christian Missionary School, Women's Conferences, Social Networks, special activities, all this to reach and edify the Mexican youth with the Word of God.
We also invest our time in supporting the Local Churches, adding to the work that God is already doing in those places in: Bible studies, evangelism, workshops, visiting families, knocking on doors, multitudinous events, discipleship, guiding people to follow Jesus, Youth Meetings and in whatever God allows us to be serving Him. Always remembering that we are to serve and not to be served.

About Carlos
I will tell you a little about my story: I was born in El Salvador, a small country located in Central America. In 2009, I made the decision to believe in Jesus and follow Him. Since then, God has allowed me to serve Him in different ways at Word of Life, as well as in my local church in El Salvador.
In 2014, God allowed me to come to Mexico to learn about His Word by studying at Word of Life Bible Institute and during those three years until my graduation, God confirmed to me that the place where He wanted me to serve Him was the Mexican Republic.
In 2018 I started this new stage of my life as a full time missionary and God has never ceased to amaze me, to see His mercy and to see that God can occupy a sinner like me to continue in HIS WORK.
In 2015 I met my beautiful wife Miryam at summer camp and in 2023 God allowed us to get married. Now as a family we continue to serve the Lord, He has prepared and equipped us to serve Him in Mexico.
About Miryam
Hello, my name is Miryam, I was born in Mexico. In 2005, as a teenager, I learned about Christ along with my parents and my brother; where my first approach to the Bible was when my mother read me two passages from the book of Psalms, even without a biblical knowledge. Shortly after, a family member shared with us the good news of salvation and we began to visit a local church on a constant basis.
In that same year, I met the ministry of Word of Life Mexico, for three years I attended summer camps and about 10 years I supported as a volunteer in summer. It was in 2010 at a campfire, where the Lord called me to serve Him full time. However, my time to integrate into the missionary ministry would be different, since previously, I had a time of professional preparation by completing a degree in Early Childhood Education.
It was then in 2020, in the midst of the COVID pandemic, that the Lord brought my calling back to my mind and after important decisions, saying goodbye to my parents, my church and my job, he finally got me into the missionary ministry. Three years later I married my husband Carlos and now as a family we will continue to serve the Lord together.
