Ministry Description
I have the privilege of working with WOL Honduras in a variety of ministry opportunities. I am currently a Bible Club leader and counselor. Each week I am involved in working with a Bible Club and I get to be involved in the lives of the teens and leaders of that club. During our camp season, I work as a staff counselor, create choreography, sketch and use my artistic skills . The ministry also has evangelistic presentations where I am able to train the staff so that these are organized and I witness the Gospel change lives. Not only do I get to be involved in camp and clubs; but I also help in the office in the renting of the WOL property. I am blessed to have a wide range in my ministry but I am happy to do it for God’s glory.
About Katy
I was born and raised in Honduras. I grew up in a broken family. I accepted Jesus as my Savior when I was 9 years old. Throughout my teen years I grew further away from God until I was 16. It was at this time when I decided to rededicate my life to the Lord and this is also when I was introduced to Word of Life. My life was impacted by Word of Life and I was challenged to study the Bible and because of the grace of God I was able to attend Word of Life’s Bible Institute in Argentina. I am now a full time missionary and it is my desire to honor God and to be able to say, just like Paul, “I have finished well my career.”
